fitting injector pipe

Post by gilbert »

Silly question...?
Is it necessary to remove/refit all 4 injector pipes on my 1.6Td if I only want to replace No3?
Cheers

No, you can just do number 3 on it's own.
Make sure all the clamps are present and tight or you will keep splitting injector pipes.
Simon.

Thank you for that. My local VW Stealership assure me that they will have to remove and refit all 4 pipes in order to fit a new No3 - at a cost of approx £150!
The little rascals...
