brake backplate dowel.
I am building these up to fit, any ideas which way around the dowel pin should go? one end is slightly more tapered than the other. I am guessing that the tapered end should locate in the hub?
Also, how for does it need to be pressed into the backplate? ie how much needs to protrude for it to locate into the hub?

Re: brake backplate dowel.
OK flush with the internal side, thanks for that.
Do you have a pic of the adjuster arms? wiki says longer side of the forks go on the outside which is confirmed by bentley but on etos it looks like longer side of the forks are on the back plate side. I am guessing Bentley is the way to go?

its a parrallel pin so it wont matter which way in it goes really.the chamfer on the end is just there to make it easier to knock in if there's any misalinement.

Funnily I couldn't see the second picture before, now I can? See what you mean, the taper goes to the outside.

Longer side to backplate side and they actually fit into a slot on the shoe behind the arm to hold them in place or they would move

Two wavy washers for the brake cylinder? I can't see what the other two things are for though. Any ideas?

The wavey washers and horse clips are for the handbrake levers on Bay Windows, have you got the right shoes?

Part of the Bendix kit from Brickwerks. Maybe the same shoes fit both?

Are the handbrake levers pre attached to the shoes?
