The camper is down in Essex having its engine sorted this week. When it comes back it'll be going to the Derbyshire camping weekend.
I NEED THE EBERSPACHER WORKING!
Anybody got a logical method of going through what isnt working?
I get air coming through but its cool air not warm.

HELP NEEDED...... ITS COLD IN HERE
Where in Essex is the van, and when are you picking it up. If its not to far from me I may be able to have a look after you collect.
Health has now stopped me camping Etc.

Where abouts does your eber reside ? Can you see where the exhaust and inlet pipe (about 20mm in diameter) go into the van ? Normally (i'd imagine as i've only fitted mine) the eberspacher is the other side if this inlet.
Are these two largish pipes connected ?
In between these to large pipes will be another small fuel pipe. Is that there ? Follow this pipe back to the fuel tank (or wherever your bus gets the fuel from - mines tapped off an existing fuel line) and check for splits (leaks). Following this pipe back you should encounter a fuel pump. Does this tick when you turn on the eberspacher ? (If not the electrics to the pump may be broken or the pump knackered).
Going further down the pipe you may encounter a fuel filter - is this blocked ?
TBH, as you can smell petrol when its on, i'd be checking for a leak in the fuel pipe!
Good luck...
PS Belle in Progress had his vans engine done by elite i seem to recall - i also seem to recall following him at the brighton breeze and watching him overheat. Tip: Bleed your cooling system thoroughly before you go! (If its a water cooled of course!). Not blaming elite - they did the job in next to no time and bleeding them is hard apparently...

Ebberspachers!
Two rules...
1. Battery voltage! THe ebberspacher will not start if the supply voltage at the heater is less that 11vdc - under load.
check battery charge level, check the connections, and start the engine if in doubt to give full voltage.
2 Fuel! There is a filter guaze in the end of the pump, many dont know its there, and its the first cause of not enough fuel ( after running out of fuel)
Check out the WiKi ^^^^^ there are good links up there!

I took a look under the van today with the Eberspacher switched on and there was a constant ticking noise coming from a small 'thing' on the opposite side of the van from the Eberspacher.
It looks like a fuel line goes into this 'thing'. Is it a fuel pump of some description and why would it be ticking.
Any ideas?
To recap i'm getting cool air blowing through the vents. So the unit works but just doesnt blow warm air.
