vw t25 relay in engine compartment

Hi ther can any one tell me what the relay is for in the black box in the engine compartment .try to fix a electric problem and can't find out what it is 1.9 water cooled dg engine automatic petrol cheers colin

Carb heater circuit
triggered by a thermoswitch and powers manufold heater and carb heater maybe autochoke

whats the leccy problem?

I got no power to the reversing lights trying to cross things off fuse ok switch ok but can't find fault cheers colin
