What is the hole just above the main gas valve (On and off knob) that has a red bung in it.

blow off valve. If it over pressures it discharges from there

i've had my tank apart, on the fill point there is a float valve that stops it filling at 80% Maybe that is faulty? You can see it all stripped down here

Well it was blowing off about 6 hours after filling in the cool of the morning, think the temp went up and the lpg expanded seems to have stopped now so im guessing everything is as it should be Thanks lloydy.
