Just Kampers Sun Canopy Kit - instructions?

Post by CovKid »

Anyone have or can post a link for instructions to put it together? I'm struggling...

I'm sure its dead easy when you know how but poles don't make sense to me.

Then watch as the sucker clamps fall off and the metal pole gouges a deep scratch into your nice paint

Ah, no, use the gutter clamps.

And the third time you use them the protective rubber bits break off and the clamp gouges a deep scratch into your nice paint

I now use the gutter clamps, but only after I replaced the nasty rubber protection by glueing some inner tube type rubber to them, then some heat shrink over that as well ;)

After about 10 uses the velcro'd pockets at each corner are starting to fail

JK strikes again

I bought one of these a few years ago at vanfest and as ghost says it did indeed bend in the wind a scratch all down my paint work so took it back and got my money back before we left the show

With that in mind I'll make sure it is strengthened accordingly. If not I'll look for something else. I've got another one that is simpler and smaller so if all else fails....
