Dog Guards

Hi, does anyone know where (or if) I can get a retractable net dog guard that will fit the area behind the front seats? I'm looking for one of the roller blind style ones like you get in some estate cars, but bigger. If not, then an extra large and strong cargo net that's easy to put up and take down. We've just been away in our van with our 5 greyhounds (my wife is mad ) and made a safety barrier with the headrest fixed barrier from our car and the camping table wedged underneath behind the seats - did the job but not ideal as it stops you getting through to the rear of the van without getting out. Any suggestions/solutions gratefully received! Thanks

How about something a bit smaller that just fills the gap between the seats (or is that what you are thinking?)

We have one in our Audi - and admittedly it also has the cargo space cover but it weighs an absolute tonne.

2 quick release-spring loaded poles located floor to ceiling (one could be fixed if you dont have 2 swivel seats).
and a section of cargo net about 5'x2' with loops and hooks - available on ebay

2 and 5 greyhounds , how do you get leads on them all and take them out

Know what you mean, we have 2 greyhounds and they love to stand in the gap between the seats and watch the world go by (and get in the way of handbrake, gears etc)(and breath their smelly breath on me, and slobber up my left leg). I'll be watching this post with interest. Bri

Cheers - hadn't thought about using vertical poles, that may be an option. We were thinking of something that goes right the way across but between the seats is a good alternative. As for getting them all out - being able to get through to the back of the van without opening any doors would help. At the mo they travel with their leads on and it's a case of opening the side door a fraction and grabbing the leads before they force their way out. Sleeping arrangements are fun - at least 2 dogs on the bed with us by morning. Wife likes it - told you she's mad

I adapted a horse feed hay net for my old Landrover. Most country store type places stock them.
