Mine was a bit tight lengthwise too - I had to take about 10mm off the rail that runs across the top of the windows. They made it from my original, and I guess they assumed it might stretch a bit in use, whereas in fact the length dimension doesn't get stretched in use. Better to have it nice and taught though, rather than loose and flappy.

I spoke to a manufacturer of thermal wraparound screens when I was at Bustypes earlier in the year, and he now won't make a thermal screen for Vikings without having the van in to do it made-to-measure. He said he'd done a few and the differences between them were such that he couldn't do a 'one size fits all' and still guarantee a good fit.

Was your canvas copied from your original, or did they make it from a stock pattern (maybe mine)?

I know it's not ideal, but why not trim an inch or so off the pipe?
