the same ID and OD as the sleeve for the rollbar bushes.
The latter is fairly easy to source and can be easily cut down in length to make a replacement for the former which like as not has rusted to oblivion.
Unless using gas struts, replacement shockers can be a pain to get up through that hole in the top turret...
A short length of fairly common neoprene or similar hosepipe screwed onto the thread of the strut shaft not only allows pulling it up and through but assists alignment as you jack up the bottom arm and compress the spring.
With late arms the bottom bolt goes through an expanding collet pair and into an internal thread in the arm's opposing (fwd) face. Make darn sure there is no load on the shocker when you fit this... as I'm told it's common for these to be cross threaded.
