Lost 3rd gear after clutch change

Post by bowesy »

I've recently changed my clutch and also clutch slave cylinder and hydraulic pipe took it out yesterday first time since this and can't get 3rd gear all other gears are fine no crunching and drives fines just can't get 3rd gear is it a case of more bleeding or is it more likely to be the selector or misaligned when refitted. Hoping to get to deva today any advice greatly appreciated

If you remove the linkage can you select 3rd still by hand? It can't of gone far so must be the linkage I reckon..

Read the last part of my clutch woes, had similar problem after new clutch fitted, i had bolted the gearbox selector shaft bracket behind instead of in the front, lost 1st, 3rd and fifth because of it.
