T25 auto, from DG to ???

I have decided it is time to upgrade my T25 from it's gutless DG engine, to something which will get me up a hill ! I have been looking on the alternative engine forum, but am still confused as to what would be the best engine to get fitted, can someone please tell me what is the easiest conversion to do ? it is an automatic, so would I have to change the gearbox too, or are these auto boxes capable of taking the extra power ??

This is such a headache as there are so many options, however I do like the idea of keeping to the tradition of the flat four, so I'm looking to change to a DJ lump, does anyone know if it's a more or less straight swap ??

Agg gti on lpg. About 1k to get all the bits if you fit yourself. Searvh up gti conversions.
