Evening all.
I'm having a few problems with my lovely camper, I think the most cost effective solution would be change the engine. I just wondered what the best option if I go down this route, what engine, and where from and how much?
I've spoken to elite and they have quoted £1550 to collect and put in another DF with an extra ignition mod to give it some more power. That would be £950 engine £250 fitting £150 ignition mod and £200 collection
What do you guys n gals think

Re: Maybe new engine options
Do a search for Elite Vw on the forum. I had one last year, allot of haste and about £1000 more than quoted. Although virtually replaced everything. All in all tho, engine runs, starts lovely even throughout the winter and even with the overspend cheaper than anyone else.
I love the peace of mind knowing i can jump in the camper and ill be bringing it home and not the AA. I think also it will work out cheaper in the long run ...mmm
