Armed with chassis and engine number, were could I find the build data for my T25 crewcab.

easiest would be vw dealer or you could call vw helpline who will fax the info sheet to you if they are in a good mood

Go to the Brickyard, point the mouse at the yellow "Brickyard" logo, loads of info there, some of which gives you what you are looking for.
