2.0 cu on webber carb idle issue
Hi, just re fitted my rebuilt cu engine and got her running, 5° advance, vac hoses on and good (one is blocked off if that's right?) She'll start and idle fine when cold then as she gets hotter it won't idle. Any ideas please?

Hello,
Do you mean Weber...
If you have got the single carb setup... then it will be a nightmare to sort..
Why.... because there is no preheat.. or plenum chamber..or other stuff..
So it will fire and run....rich till the engine warms up.. then the inlet manif is too cold,, and so it usually 'leans out' and dies
That's why VW fitted Solex...22mm venturi Pdsit ..2/3..
I don't know what you are hoping for in fuel consumption....
