Re: help needed please
Well done for sorting it yourself, what was the problem and solution. Was it that wire sticking out of your fusebox with the charred end?
Just in case anybody else searches the forum and finds your posts because they have the same problem
p.s. to put pictures in your posts instead of links, on the photobucket site click on the IMG box on the right and paste the copied text/code straight into your post on here.

Re: help needed please
please try to title your posts a little more specific.
"help needed please" could be "Help needed with temp gauge wiring"
when folks use the search it helps to name the problem
Adding a conclusion if you fix it, also helps those looking for a solution

Re: help needed please
hi, many thanks for the advice on posting, new to all this. Ok so it turns out that an incorrect coolant housing had been fitted with no temp sensor. The wire i was concerned about, i think is a spare for fog lights, i could well be wrong, any thoughts?
