Im on a trip anf rear cv joint is making a horrendous banging and needs doing pronto. In overnight in fakenham. Any recommendations fo a local garage. Thanks a lot

Have you tried squeezing the boots to mosh some greese around? Might just give them a bit more life

I know many garages don't like working on T25's but doing a CV joint on these is pretty much the same as on any vehicle and easier than many too. I would say any garage worth it's salt would be hard pushed to mess that up. Just make sure you get one from Brickwerks (24 hr delivery if required) to be on the safe side as there are some around that appear to be made out of Chinese cheese.

Excellent quality John. Properly hardened unlike some of the chocolate ones on ebay.

Already ordered through Brickwerks before seeing post but interesting to know if it happens on the road again. Squeeze the s$%& out of the boot and did another 300 miles OK.

E D I T: Garage couldn't find anything wrong with CV joint. Will keep the spare joint in van as I'm sure the noise will come back.
