jacking points

do the any of the jacking points have drainholes in the middle of them?

just worried that its more bad rust?

Well the front one is a thick lump of plate that is pretty open, can get mud ets stuck in it.
The rear is part of the chassis leg, there is a hole about 40mm in on the bottom and this also can get full of mud etc..
wire brush around it.. and see whats going on..

hi,
i have checked and they are rotten in the middle, the surrounding jacking point is solid though.

does this mean an mot failure?

send us a picture where exactly do you mean by the middle? It is load bearing and therefore structural, so rot is a fail, but as ever it will be down to the tester on the day as to whether he spot it or thinks that it is significant.
