Camper Toilet Choice

Post by eiret25 »

On cosycampers.ie there are two potential candidates.

http://www.cosycampers.ie/shop-links/ba ... potti.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And

http://www.cosycampers.ie/shop-links/ba ... ot-30.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Just wondering what your opinions on choice would be. Both seem reasonably priced. Go raibh maith agat.

I suppose it depends where you are storeing it in your van,mine sits under the rock n roll bed so the first one would not fit mine....... :lol:

I would be thinking of building a unit to store it behind the passenger seat that would double as extra storage and seat on top.

then personally i would go with the smaller one.If your seats swivel then you could use it as a foot rest while chilling in your van with a glass of beer or a glass of wine.Measure the height of your seatbase from the ground up to the top of your seat base,then you will know which one to buy.Hope this helps.... :pimp

So in the end I went with the Royal. Got it delivered last Friday having ordered it Wednesday evening. Will construct a unit that will do two jobs, hide the loo and seating. Great service from cosycampers.ie . credit where credit is due

A number of factors to be honest :) It is a better quality unit than the other. On my van I have something like a mini bulkhead behind each seat which are to the level of the head rest, they are welded so that rules out ever having a swivel chair. It is also that bit higher so easier to use. Impressed with it, I know it was a wee bit more expensive (excuse the pun) however I got two bottles of liquid inc. Thanks for the advice btw :ok

No way. I want to keep the vans originality. It's an ex german army and the two mini bulkheads were a factory option.
