alternative engine insurance question

alternative engine insurance question

ok, im about to bite the bullet an get an ej20 2.0L subaru engine for my t25. currently im with adrian flux, paying 650 pounds anually (im 22 years old, 1 years no claims, been driving for 3.5 years)

will adrian flux hit me with the change?
im quite happy to change insurance company (but need unlimited miles or about 15,000)

any thoughts?

Just a thought... have you phoned them and asked? I understand they are covering other peopoe on here who have gone down the subie route.

Some insurance companies also require and engineers report to back up the installation of an alt. engine...

have contacted them, they say they wont insure me as its not standard engine
can anyone recommend anywhere?
