Accelerator pedal very slow to return ? Looked at everything i can think of,spring, play in pedal ( some play in linkage but i`ve seen worse) cable tension etc etc. The cable that is fitted seems ok and i know its not that old but changing it seems the next logical move. Problem ! The van is fitted with a passat 1.6td engine SB code. Is the cable the same as what is fitted to a std Transporter 1.6TD ? Any help will be gratefully received as its doing my head in there are that many variations.
