Try opening the fuel filter drain, let some fuel [ and water? ] out..when did you last do a service?
Check that the glow plugs are all working.
I dont think, so I'm not[do I exist?]

Why were you bleeding the injectors? Have you had them out or just moved the injector pipes to help with access for glow plugs? When you put the new filter on did you fill it with fresh fuel first? Any idea where the pop came from and any odd noises when turning the engine over?

Yes just moved one out the way to change glow plugs. It was running bit rough a smokey while I was trying to bleed the air out then pop from around the pump area then completely different sound on turning over and not even trying to start .

It would be a bit rough and smokey if there was air in the system. Is it possible you have snapped an injector pipe at the pump end? Have you got any leaks? I don't suppose you happened to drop anything near the pump/cambelt?

When did you last change your cambelt/tensioner? Could be on the way out & jumped a tooth or two.
