Hi...

I bought a lower side panel from JK... they only do the LHD version (as does Alan Schofield) and they both say that the panel 'needs adjustment' to fit on the right hand side. The quality isn't bad... a little on the thin side compared with the original, but the 'adjustment' needed is cutting off about 8" or so from the rear end, then you have to form a flange on the cut end... not easy on a curved panel! I cut one to shape from sheet metal and welded it to the end of the panel. After careful grinding and shaping, I got a reasonable fit and plug welded the panel at the inner sill flange and the groove that runs along the lower body (the panel is joggled to fit in the groove). I stitched the ends from inside the van (after removing camper cupboards, etc...) Not an easy job, but I'm reasonably happy with the end result.. but then I'm no sheet metal worker!

Hope that helps.

If my memory serves me right, the panel cost around £34 delivered; this was around June/July this year, the current price will be on the JK website. The labour was free! (Mine!)
