LCD CLOCK 12v SUPPLY?

Post by slippy8v »

Picked up a replacement LCD clock for the syncro as the one in her had a damaged screen and was not working, after a long wait picked one up on E-bay.
stripped the dash pod this morning and replaced the clock unit put all connectors back in but no joy.
Took the replacement out and ran a 12v supply to the connectors and the clock is working ok,checked the old clock the same way and it to is working.
So the question is where is the 12v supply coming from for the clock, I assume its from the main dash plug, can’t seem to get a 12v on the meter on this main plug. I no its not a big deal but i do want it to work.

any help welcome

if you hold the pcb up to the light you can check for cracks , also the details for witch track does what is written!

trace the tracks from the clock .

it may be feed / track or connector problem
