hardwire dash

hi , Im looking into hardwiring my dash as all the printed circuit board is old and breaking, I think I have all parts I need but unsure how to do the lighting as the bulbs just twist in how do I over come this any help or pointers on hard wiring the dash will be much appreciated

I ended up just soldering wires to the metal contacts on the bulb holders - seems to work OK although its not the most satisfactory solution.

On the printed circuit board there is a pcb connector which goes to a another circuit board which is wooden what is this for

i will tryand get a picture looking at circuit board going to it is the oil pressure high and low wiring so was thinking is this the warning buzzer

I don't have the buzzer of doom circuit so perhaps someone else can confirm but yes, I'd assume you are correct ...... (It was you saying it was made of wood that threw me?!?!)

Yep - but mine was the simplest version possible - no buzzer, no rev counter etc
