Remove water from fuel tank

Post by sjmtlewy »

I had my tank off for several weeks, lying safe under the van while I sorted out some brake pipe issues. Now ive reassembled everything, its started stalling when pulling off from junctions. Im thinking one explanation might be that condensation could have gathered in the tank during the cold weather.

Is there an easy way to get water out of the fuel tank? Are the various dodgy looking additives that halfwits sell, such as "dry fuel" any use?
