Eberspacher D2 - still need help

Post by dazwatson »

Hi,

Can anyone please help, my Eber D2 is playing up. It is only blowing cold air on immediate start up, no start up cycle or pump trying to fuel. I have a mini switch controller that has the air blow option.

I have stripped the Eber down to check the filter & have checked the glow plug, I have stripped and checked the unit loads so know how to do this. I have checked the pump and that pulses & squirts fuel.

So I want to try my old switch which is below but I don't know which wire goes to which number on the contact block so can anyone help. I changed from this old switch as the temp setting wouldn't alter but at least it ran, so if it fires with this unit I will then replace with a new controller.

This is the controller that I want the wire colours to which No:

Hi again folks,

So tried my heater again today, I wired my old switch last week end with no joy, still have the same issue.

Have charged my nearly new 110amp leisure battery for 3 days and is showing full charge and loads of volts. I have tested the voltage at the heater connection & showing plenty of volts ( 12+)

It just won't do anything else other than start up immediately in blowing mode, there is no attempt to go through the start up procedure ( slow fan that builds before the pump kicks in then fires )

I have trawled the net but can't find much, does anyone have any ideas.... Please help, I want to go th dubfreeze :(

Check the resistances as per page 24 in the manual.
