Which starter motor?

Hi all

I have a 1.9 TDI stuck in in place of the old 1.6 Jx - engine refit was done in Poland around 6 years ago, and a fair bit of detail of what was done was lost in translation!

Need a new starter motor, therefore question is does anyone know if the starter motor should be the same as the one off the old Jx or would it be more likely this would have been changed when the recon engine was put in?

If it hasn't got an adapter plate 99% it will be a jx one
