Now the weather got colder, it’s that time of the year when I have the same issue as every other year, the gear change is stiff for the first mile until the gearbox has warmed up, after about a mile it gets nice and smooth. So was wondering if anyone else has this problem and whether there’s an alternative oil that would be better to use.
Before anyone suggest changing the oil, it was changed only a 1K miles ago when I fitted the new clutch, and before that it’s changed every two – three years (so about every 9 – 12K) and it’s always been like this
I use 80-90W oil and It’s a 5 speed
