newbie engine carb question

Post by biker1981 »

Hi,

Im new to VW's ive been concentrating on the body work as the camper runs and drives.

I dont know alot about the engine, i serviced it when I got it, but its running far to rich .

My question is - i know its a 2.0 Aircooled engine and its running twin carbs... did they come with twin carbs or single carbs as standard? are they ahrd to tune? any help appreciated as it stinks of fuel, drinks like a fish ... but goes like the clappers :-)
