Hi People
According to a mechanic friend, it seems as if my T25 diesel fuel pump is not working.
It is not sucking in fuel properly!
I had to confess that I had been running the van on a mixture of veggie oil and diesel.
I am told that such may be the reason for the pump's problem.
Can these pumps be cleaned out and repaired etc?
I dread to ask but what would a replacement pump cost me?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Re: T25 1.6 Diesel Fuel Pump
Presumably you checked that the filter isn't blocked/changed it for a new one? (I carry 3 spare ones!) Check that the banjo/s on the top of the filter aren't blocked - mine got blocked but the filter was clean, I run on waste vegetable oil also. What blocked it was a substance that looked like short haired fur, which I also found when I drained my boats diesel tank. Worth checking if you haven't already done so.
