sealer to make sure bottom seals seal?

sealer to make sure bottom seals seal?
Does anyone know of a sealer that can be used to make sure the bottom liner seals definitely seal, some people say just use them as they are others on you tube seem to add a sealer / lubricant? This needs to be non setting as it can take some time to assemble the engine and head each side. Does anyone have any views?
