powerflex bushes
im thinking about changing all my rubber bushes to powerflex ive been told they improve handling stop all the squeeks and rattles plus have a lifetime warranty has anybody got them on there bus and how have they got on with them??

Well, I'm not convinced that changing EVERY bush is cost effective or even worthwhile but certainly some bushes benefit from swapping out for polyflex - rear trailing arms for instance where you won't want to go again and on the front suspension/steering. Urethane type equivalents have been around a long time though, particularly in the Beetle custom market and have proved their worth. However I wouldn't prescribe to blindly changing every bush in sight - unless you have money to burn.

I have done some of the front ones and they improved the steering no end. And cured a knocking that couldn't be pinned down to any particular area. (Note to self - Must finish doing it and put the rest on!

I have the full set of powerflex bushes on mine, the difference is huge. I only need one lane of the autobahn now.
