Quick rear wheel bearing question.

Post by Cyrus »

Can the rear bearings be fitted either way around?
I know there's a larger and smaller roller type but do they need to be fitted with the stamp facing in or out or it doesn't matter? I can fit them 180 degrees out??
ta very muchly

Sitting in the sun doing it at the moment. :-D

Well I've never taken any notice of which way they were facing - if that helps. As long as the oil seal is good, thats the important thing.

That's a relief, I inspected them and couldn't see any difference in machining.
