Tick over
Need a bit of advice my van has always run and ticked over spot on yet the other day had a drive to Coast did a few hundred miles and noticed on way home while sat at lights it was idling not as usual it was over revving a bit never done it before. Would it just need tickover lowering. Cheers for any advice

Re: Tick over
the fast idle mechanism may need a squirt of oil..
Or the throttle/cable is slightly sticking
next time it revs blip the throttle.
Or investigate it by removin the engine lid and turning it by hand
do this before you adjust the throttle stop
