Stick with the original type. Do Not Buy Chinese "pooh" off E-Bay - you may get pretty blue LED''s and the dash will look fab at night....for a month then they all fade and go out....

Stick with what was designed to fit, my dash lights are std well bright as I have to dim them slightly at night.

Having said all that, I have read about an LED kit Maplins do that come in different colours and they even work with the dimmer. Google it?

Hi Dave, have you had a go at cleaning up the earth crowns behind the fuse box - it's next on my list as my dash light (right hand side only) started working on it's own accord after 5 months use and now it's stopped again! Next thing will be to check the current with a multimeter at different points on the ribbon.
