I've just noticed this happening after getting a thread repaired on the base of the carb...
There is a fuel leak from this pivot point:

I noticed this after a little test run out after refitting the carb. Basically the carb has been off to repair one of the bolts at the carb base. I took the opportunity to clean the carb as it was filthy, and replace the fuel lines. So I am thinking that cleaning the crud away from this pivot of the throttle assembly has lead to the leak becomming obvious.
I've taken a look at a diagram but am unsure whether there is a seal in there that needs replacing. There is some play in the bar the throttle butterfly is attached to, so i am assuming its worn out and now leaking fuel through the bearings.
Does a carb rebuild kit cover this area? Or will it need new bearings etc? Anyone i can send it off to?

The throttle itself doesn't appear to return to idle easily either, and needs "help" from the extra spring you can see attached to a cable tie.
Emissions are perfect, its also driving beautify, but obviously i am not going to use it with petrol seeping past this joint

Thanks in advance!
