Hi Guys
MOT due and washer not working, Had a look at it and had someone operate the switch while I held pump motor in hand.
I can feel a clicking going on inside and it starts to get very warm so this suggests power is getting to it.
Do you think the pump is dead? Shall I swap it for a new one?
Any clues on what else I could try to get it working.
Cheers Jay

Re: Washer Woes
If your pump clicks, then it's not totally seized. One trick that's worth a try...........
Sometimes the pump picks up a tiny bit of grit which jams the little plastic gear wheels. If you connect the pump up with reverse polarity (+ to - and - to +) just for an instant it can release the particle by running backwards and then works OK.
Sometimes.

1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
