mudflaps scraping the tarmac

Post by jiffies »

Now this is going to sound a bit daft but just lowered the van a tad, 60mm front & 40mm at the back. The standard mudflaps are now only 35mm off the tarmac @ the front which are scraping on speed bumps etc. What to people normally do? Cut them down which will look rubbish or are there shorter ones available? If so where from?
Cheers

mine has been lowered 50mm and I reckon the LPG tank that is fitted in the spare wheel rack is so heavy that it may have lowered it a bit more and my mudflaps scrape the ground over speed humps,I just leave it has been doing it for two years now and no problems
