T25 2.1 Auto 1986

Post by isaune »

Hi Chaps

Can anyone recommend any good bodyshops in the Enfield/North London/Herts/Essex kind of area?

Had the van almost 2 years now and I'm thinking of spending a bit to get his rusty bits seen to - oo er missus!

Mainly the seams, wheel arches and behind the front bumper - usual suspects I believe. It's a tin top so no problems there and I think the chassis and underneath is pretty sound.

Anyway, I knew what I was buying and did plan to spend the absolute minimum and run the van until its natural demise - at the time I suppose I thought if I get 5 years of fun out of it, it's definitely worth what I paid. Certainly, there were no problems on the MOT I had done at Xmas and it is mechanically sound.

However, as I am sure you are only too aware, you get kinda attached to these things and, as I say, I might be in the market for a spruce up.

So, any contacts please?

Thanks a lot

Ian

If you are prepared to travel then do it right and call Mr Mickey, other wise can recommend someone in Croydon who is reasonable and has done a good job on mine, I did most of the preparation so knew what had been done, that was three years ago, he also put in a new front lower panel and the work was good :ok
