HELP! 2.1DJ dizzy+vacuum unit

Post by hobart71uk »

I need a new distributor for my 2.1DJ but everyone I order and receive has the wrong vacuum unit on it. The original has two vacuum hose outlets on the vacuum unit but the two replacements ones only have one vacuum outlet. Is there some way of making it work with just the one vacuum hose? Im guessing the answer is no! Any help would be very very much appreciated!

Difficult without pics but providing the hose to the outermost vac commector on new dizzy is in place (you won't get any advance if this is not connnected), you could just try plugging the other hose. It should at least run.

Thanks for that, have now ordered a new vacuum unit for the new dizzy so hopefully (fingers and toes crossed) problem should be solved!
