I have a 1982 2l Aircooled camper that's lost power, I have replaced the following,
Air filter
Fuel filter
Mechanical fuel pump.
Today she lost power, no smoke or leaks anywhere.
The oil seams to becoming from the right carb?
Please help!!!
The oil in your air filter is probably coming from the crank-case breather. Run the engine with the breather off and see if you're getting loads of white smoke. A bit of oil isn't unusual over a a few months.
Why do you think the oil is coming up through the right hand carb?
Have you done a compression check? Without knowing the condition of your rings, cylinders and bores you're going to be guessing where to start.

If the oil is coming out of the right carb it means the oil is either getting past your rings, or valves seals., and the inlet valve isn't sealing so the oil is being blown back through the carb. If that's the case then you'll probably need a new head and or new rings or cylinder.
If you run the engine with the air-box & inlets off does it "pop" out of the right carb. Remember if it does "pop" back it could be spitting flames so have a kill switch & extinguisher handy.
Or the oil in the airbox is coming from the breather like it does on most air-cooled engines.
