I have a 88 westy Joker with eberspacher. At some time a webasto digital timer was fitted (not very well).
I was getting no power at the timer due to bad wiring so I have now removed the timer completely.
The eberspacher will now turn on when switched to vent mode and blow cold air but when switched to heating the green light is on but nothing else, fan does not try to spin, no clicking or anything.
Any ideas?
I have checked all fuses and made sure thermostat is turned up.
Eberspacher only works in vent mode

Re: Eberspacher only works in vent mode
Sounds a bit like the issues we had with ours - we've also only been able to get ours to work with the timer disconnected.
Try unplugging and replugging all the connections - particularly the silver switching box about the size of a cassette.
Check your leisure battery is fully charged - if the voltage is even a bit low the heater won't fire - maybe put your Westy on hook-up while you try.
Eventually we got ours to work by just starting and restarting several times - perhaps this cleared an airlock in the fuel lines, although we've still got some issues because of our leisure battery not holding charge very well.
Good luck with it.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried it with engine running but still no luck.
I'll give it a go on hook up and try disconnecting and reconnecting etc. you never know!
