Changing Temp Gauge - Easy?

My temperature gauge is faulty on my TD syncro I have been unable to find a set of S/H clocks for a TD Syncro is it easy / possible to just change the temperature gauge, or the rev counter complete with temp gauge.

Any one done it? Any tips

stripping the clocks is fairly easy ,just take your time its fiddley, just a thought if your temp and fuel gauages both play up it is prob the little three pronged diode that is a fault, take your time is my big hint
