New here hoping for a bit of help

Post by zafferg »

Hey guys

Firstly I should say I don't own a camper - I do however have a father who got a bit over-involved in the wiring on his and upon visiting him today found he'd taken it upon himself to disconnect pretty much every electrical connection in the rear engine bay & dash to 'fault find'.. This two days before he is supposed to drive to Orkney (from Cumbria)

I think I have managed to put it back together again for him working mainly on common sense and my AVO; but have found quite a few snags (how many he has caused as apposed to what the original fault was I am unsure) - - he also lives way out in the country and their mobile signal and broadband is down so I have driven back into town to scour the web for information.

I believe I have identified it as a 1988 1600 Diesel Watercooled T3 conversion to T25

I have found many wiring diagrams on your kindly run site but have not found an exact match & was hoping someone could point me at the correct one to work from whilst confirming my identification of the model?

Some pics of the horror:

No definitely not a turbo - sorry should have taken a better picture of the engine bay but it looks identical to this:
