Hi,
re: 1988 Autosleeper
anyone advise how best to repair rotten bracket (n/s outer) which is attached to the chassis & supports the arm?
Is it possible to still get these brackets or will it need to be fabricated?
If anyone has any experience of this problem & fix - any advice would be appreciated.
cheers

Have a look at MetalMick8y's restoration thread for the Sunnivagon, where he did what you're describing. Here's the link (the relevant bit starts near the bottom of the page) where he details, with lots of description and photos, how he did the job:
Sunnivagon trailing arm bracket repair
The man himself will probably be along soon with tips and tricks on how to do the job best.
The bracket is available from A H Schofield:

Good luck,
James

According to Brickwerks themselves, the bracket they sell is made by Schofields, which is why I gave the link above. They are the same price from either source. They can also be bought elsewhere, but cost a fair bit more (€69 most other places I've seen).

Re: Trailing Arm Bracket (Outer)
and when youve chopped the bolt off and removed the arm, make sure you make an accurate jig to reposition the new one else you will have all manner of issues with toe/camber etc
mm
and maybe one of the mods can shift this to bodies
