Fuel Guage

I ran out of LPG on the Isle of Wight so had to run on fools gold for 24 hours

Not too much of an issue other than I put £20 of petrol in and the guage didn't move. When you turn on the ignition the needle moves from it's resting place to the bottom of empty. I think there is about half a tank in there but don't know.

Not too much of a problem as I am usually on LPG but would be useful to sort this out.

Where do I start?
