Has anyone replaced the floor carpeting in a Holdsworth?
My problem is that the carperting extends under both the units and the RnR bed - so do I just cut the carpet up to the edge of the units/bed and fit the vinyl up the edges as best I can or do I need to 'lift' the units/bed and get the vinyl underneath for a decent fit?
Advice from others that have tried it would be much appreciated?

Re: Vinyl Flooring in a Holdsworth
Mine is not a Holdsworth (it's a LeisureDrive) but I cut right up to the cupboards both at the side and under the bed (leaving the carpet under the cupboards). I used some self adhesive wood effect flooring squares from B&Q that have a kind of "block" effect (pic to follow) that makes lining them up pretty fool proof. (there is a technique of laying a tile over the top ant cutting another to fit, hard to explain, easy to do, likely find it on YouTube
) My ply base was in good nick but I had to block sand it to get rid of traces / ripples of carpet glue. You have to then seal it to make the self adhesive glue stick properly. I used a spray can of Polyurethane varnish, again from B&Q, 2 x coats. I am very pleased with the result. You cannot see the joins at all. Looks great and so far has shown no signs of wear or damage
Pics to follow.

Got a laminate wood flooring in my Holdsworth Villa 3 which has proved to be a great improvement over the last 5 years.
Carpet only attracted crumbs, dog hairs, dirt and grass... now all it needs is a sweep and wipe over!
Carpet was cut away to edge of units and R&R seat and finishing strip of wooden quarter round beading (Fixed with brass screws and varnished) just to tidy up the edge.
No need to strip out carpet from under the bed or cupboards to get a good finish.

That's what I like to hear - thank you both.
(Any pics by any chance either of you?)
But otherwise - cheers - looks like that's the next 'indoor' job for the van - sick of the daily brush to get all the grass and gunk out of the van (looks more like a horses stable in there most of the time!)

Put this vinyl in our Autosleeper last year a dead cheap offcut from a warehouse. Cut it to the edge and put some wooden beading around it.

and then used an offcut from some artificial grass to make a mat for it last week
