Head lights flash when emergency light switch on.

Hi all

Insane as it may sound, only just checked the hazard lights.

Indicators don't flash at the front, headlights do!

Now I know the front is not orginal, so could this be bad wiring? Looked at the Hanyes and it shows separate wires for the hazard switch to the indicators (I think).

Any ideas.

Also the left indicator flashes on and off irregularly. Not fast as in the bulb has gone, but fast irregular. Like a two step effect.

Again any ideas?

I'm hoping to see the MOT man tomorrow and am guessing both are failures?

Clean the earth crown as first port of call. Invariably its that.

Was looking at the pic last night (admittedly at midnight!), and couldn't figure out what they were.

Looking again now I see the "crowns" to the left!

Apologies. Was a depressing day on the van, and after downing tools at 23:15 after breaking the windscreen during fitting, realising the sliding door doesn't open from the inside, and the lights weren't working properly, I wasn't in the zone.

Anyway.... Onward and upward today!

Bloody amazing!

It worked!

Wire brushed the crown and all the spades. Reconnected one as well with a new connector.

You guys are awesome! I had nightmares about the wiring diagram.
