Hi All.
Oil buzzer driving me nuts. There is nothing wrong with oil pressure (had it checked). Obviously a short somewhere as it is affected by a multitude of things, indicators etc, even depressing the cluth pedal makes it go louder or quieter. Also when I remove dash pod and tap round the back of the speedo it stops for a while. So, how can I kill the buzzer. can I disconnect it somewhere that doesn't involve getting into the dash ?
Cheers
Jpee.

If you haven't got a rev counter then just disconnect the speed signal wire, depending on what you have got from the coil if it is petrol or the alternator if diesel.

Two green wires going to Terminal -1 of the coil, one goes into the wiring loom with the black wire remove that one, the other one goes to the ignition amplifier on the nearside wheel arch if you remove that one the engine won't start.
