Well after struggling for an age making bits of these ive finaly had a set of dies made to do the small swage etc and now have a number of these

they are 1.2mtr long and i have made them so they completely replace the original ready to accept the tall wing and can be left full height to suit a panalvan or they are tall enough to cut all of the van conversion aperatures out of

or cut of above the swage and let into a factory glazed side.
they are too long but then you get a few goes at fitting length wise
just make sure to drill right through the centre track at each end BETWEEN the spot with a clearance hole for say 6mm bolt and then you can realign the track 100% after
£36 plus post or 80-90 or w.h.y

She is rotted out under both windows although the inner is pretty good. Haven't checked the floor as the interior is still in and i haven't got the room to store it right now if i rip it all out.
Think i will have a similar to the job you did for Pocolow when it comes to the wheel arch and rear wing etc
The sliding door is mint as i suspect this is a new replacement and the back door is ace too.
Once i have it MOT'd i think a trip up to your neck of the woods is in order. i will of course book it in early as i know you're booked up till next year.

Ha ha i am very new to all of this.
You'll have to let me know if you need anything specific folded as i'm a design engineer at a large engineering works, access to a 4mtr guillotine and press break. I can also draw up anything in 3D if you want?
I can also get things laser cut in mild steel, stainless steel, wood and plastic if you have anyone who may need it.
My next project is to design a folded rear bumper that fits around the tow bar on mine. Going to get it laser cut in a oner and fold it, then tig weld it for extra awesomeness. Then some custom vw logo strips out of brushed stainless steel

hehe.the brake and chopper we have its the die to form the short little swage thats the tricky bit
now rear bumpers would be nice but they are double curved so would need more thought

Just thought I would add something to this. I got one of these panels from Mike and have to say they are top quality

I was really worried about doing this repair but the quality of the steel and the precision of the panel made this far easier than I would have thought. Would not hessitate in using this panel again if I ever needed to on another van. Top stuff Mike

Got my panel too, will save me loads of time & make a proper job of repairing a tricky part
Would recommend & will be back for more no doubt, as I have 2 more t25s booked in for
body restoration over next few months
